The WRC Vodafone Rally de Portugal proved to be quite competitive from the very first minute, as during the 24 special tests disputed, the difficulty was felt by the crews with the changes of leaders throughout the competition. The situation was no different for Fabrizio Zaldívar (WRC2 / Challenger) and Diego Domínguez Bejarano (WRC3 / JWRC), who faced complicated scenarios during the weekend.
On the side of the reigning two-time FIA-CODASUR champion, Fabrizio Zaldívar, navigated by Marcelo Der Ohannesian aboard the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, finished eighth in the WRC2 Challenger, while he was twelfth in the overall WRC2.

As for the reigning WRC3 world champion, Diego Domínguez Bejarano, with Rogelio Peñate in the right seat of the Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo, finished eighth in both WRC3 and Junior WRC, which is in its second round.
The next date will be the Rally Italia Sardegna, between June 5 and 8, following the European tour of the FIA World Rally Championship.
