Participants included: the Mayor of Bella Vista, Euclides De Godois, his wife Connie Bronstrup from the Yerbatera “Selecta” Company, the directors of Tourism from the municipalities hosting the World Rally Championship, and the Secretary of Tourism of Itapúa, Verónica Stefani.
The meeting marked the start of work to jointly develop a full agenda of activities to present to visitors arriving in August, a key month as it will host the largest event in the history of national motor racing.
The WRC ueno Rally del Paraguay will be the tenth round of the FIA World Rally Championship, and the minimum expectation is that some 250,000 people from different places around the world will come to the country to witness the fastest drivers from nowadays in the sport.
The event will take place between August 28 and 31 on the roads of the Department of Itapúa, and the tourist attractions and activities during the days leading up to and even after the event will mark a turning point for the development of the area in the Department.
