At 7:05 in the morning, the Super Special Stage Kassarani got underway, and in the purest style of the direct races, it was started in “versus” format, and contributing to the show, it was determined that the Paraguayan drivers would start together in the WRC2.
In this early “morning duel”, the winner was Fabrizio Zaldívar, who with 3 minutes and 18.8 seconds, won over Diego Domínguez Jr. who was 4.4 seconds behind. With this, “Fau” set the best time in the WRC2 Challenger, and was only beaten by Sweden’s Oliver Solberg by 1.5 seconds in the WRC2 overall.
The second special stage started at 10:43, and in it, “Diegui” was the best positioned Paraguayan with 7 minutes and 1.2 seconds of time, setting the third best time in the WRC2 and second in the Challenger. On the side of “Fau”, with 7 minutes and 8.5 seconds, he set the sixth best time in the WRC2 and fourth in the Challenger, but this would cost him positions, being the new leader among the Rally2 the Polish driver Kajetan Kajetanowicz.
