Our WRC debut marked a historic milestone that exceeded all expectations. In our first year of participation in 2025, Paraguay was awarded Best Rally in the World, thanks to the high level of professionalism, planning, and passion for this remarkable sport demonstrated by our organization.
In addition, we were honored with the Sustainable Tourism Award from the United Nations—an extraordinary achievement that reflects Paraguay’s strong commitment to excellence, innovation, and environmental responsibility. These recognitions are a testament to the dedication and passion of our people, as well as their warmth, preparedness, and hospitality.
The success of Rally Paraguay 2025 was the result of years of vision, effort, and a genuine connection between the Paraguayan people and motorsport. Rallying is part of our culture, inspiring new generations and bringing communities together across the country. A message from the CEO: the rally as a symbol of identity and commitment
For his part, the CEO of the Rally del Paraguay, César Marsal, emphasised that the WRC’s return to the country consolidates the recognition achieved during its debut and positions the event as a global benchmark in motorsport.
Marsal stressed that the Paraguayan rally is built on four fundamental pillars:
- The commitment of the clubs and volunteers,
- The support of the security forces, who ensure safety,
- The exemplary behaviour and enthusiasm of the spectators,
- And the high competitive standard of the international teams.
In his message, he emphasised that the rally is an expression of Paraguayan identity, characterised by tenacity, passion and pride in the country, and affirmed that Paraguay offers a setting that demands the very best from the drivers in a safe and well-organised environment.
He also set out an ambitious vision: to consolidate the Rally del Paraguay as the defining event of this generation within the WRC, setting an international standard for the coming decades.
