The Deputy Minister of Communication of the MITIC, Alejandra Duarte Albospino, the Deputy CEO, Ricardo Deggeller, and the technical team for infrastructure, logistics, stages, and communication, conducted a survey visit to the Itapúa area, where strategic improvements are planned for the next edition.
The ueno Rally del Paraguay has established itself as a driving force for tourism and sports. The 2025 edition attracted more than 210,000 visitors, of which nearly 60,000 were foreigners, generating an unprecedented economic and media impact. For 2026, the stakes are even higher: expanding accommodation capacity, optimizing stages, and enhancing the experience for the public and competitors.
The joint work between the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC) and the organizing committee seeks to enhance digital communication and international coverage, positioning the Paraguay Rally as a benchmark in the region.
“We want the 2026 Rally to be an unforgettable experience, showcasing the strength of the sport and the beauty of Paraguay,” said Alejandra Duarte Albospino during the technical visit. “We are verifying aspects that are the driving force behind the Rally, such as the symbolic start, the awards ceremony, the remote assistance park, among other points,” she added.
With this initiative, Paraguay reaffirms its commitment to continue growing in the international motorsports calendar and to turn each edition into an opportunity for tourism, innovation, and regional integration.
