At 7:00 p.m., the cheers of the crowd mingled with the roar of engines as the cars drove down the ramp in the first edition of the WRC ueno Rally del Paraguay. Previously, singer Melissa Hicks was responsible for singing the Paraguayan National Anthem, followed by the participation on the ramp of the President of the Republic, Santiago Peña, accompanied by the current President of the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile, Mohammed Ben Sulayem.

The crews had the opportunity—with prior permission from Race Control—to perform driving exhibitions within a range of 100 meters, with some opting for “spins,” others for practice starts, as well as drifting to burn tires.

Forty-seven crews will ultimately take on the challenge of a rally with a unique atmosphere and challenging terrain, such as the WRC Ueno Rally of Paraguay.
