From August 28 to 31, the department of Itapúa will be the epicenter of world motorsports, with more than 950 kilometers of track, 334 km of which are special stages. More than 250,000 visitors are expected to attend, with live broadcasts to more than 150 countries and an estimated audience of 1 billion people.
“We are getting closer and closer to a historic experience. The excitement is growing every day and the country’s team is fully committed,” said Ricardo Deggeller, Deputy Director General of the Paraguay Rally, speaking from Nueva Alborada, Itapúa, where he is touring and inspecting the stages of the great race.
The event mobilizes various state institutions, with improvements in road infrastructure, connectivity, signage, and tourist services. The Government of Paraguay has declared the rally a strategic priority for the country’s international positioning, betting on its economic, tourist, and sporting impact.

Safety and coexistence: pillars of the event
On another note, Deggeller reminds fans that the rally should be enjoyed responsibly. Clearly differentiated areas have been established to ensure public safety:
- Safe Areas: behind green tape, in elevated locations away from the road.
- Prohibited Areas: areas without signage, with “No Public” signs or behind red tape.
In addition, the playing of music is prohibited in the competition areas. “The only sound allowed is that of the engines. Out of respect for safety and the community, we ask that you avoid speakers and music during the event,” emphasized Deggeller.
Although all sections of the rally are freely accessible, tickets are now available for preferred areas, which offer greater comfort, visibility, and exclusive services. Tickets can be purchased through the digital platform www.tuti.com.py.
The 2025 Paraguay Rally is not just a car race: it is a national celebration, a global showcase, and a unique opportunity to show the world the passion, hospitality, and beauty of Paraguay’s red earth.
