The day saw a significant presence of key participants in the development of the WRC ueno Rally del Paraguay ahead of the competition, which will take place in less than 90 days in the Department of Itapúa, with Encarnación as the epicenter city.
With welcoming remarks from CEO César Marsal and the event’s Executive Committee, as well as the presentation of the staff and their respective positions, and the presentation of the race by Race Director Sergio Arréllaga, the first day was opened with the following topics:
- Media Accreditation Protocol and Criteria: Luis Acosta (National Press Officer), Lluisa Torras (International Press Officer), César Palacios (Event PR)
- Presentation of the Child Protection Protocol: Juan Fernández Ayala
- Presentation of the Tourism Plan: Deisy Varela (SENATUR)
- Presentation of the Security Plan: Cesar Marsal, Carlos Villate, Luis López, Francisco Romero
- Presentation on Security by the National Police: Planning Director, Inspector Francisco Avalos
- Presentation on Security by the Military Forces. Gen. Div. Narciso Lopez
- Presentation on Security by the Volunteer Fire Department: Chief Marco Almada
- Presentation of security measures by the Highway Patrol: Inspector Major Omar González
- Presentation of the Medical Area Operational Plan: Dr. Gustavo Giubi
- Presentation of environmental guidelines: Ramón Mallén, Ricardo Deggeller.
The day ended at 5:00 p.m. and will continue on Sunday with four simultaneous modules starting at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, June 1.
