The program was promoted by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MITIC), in coordination with the Government of Itapúa, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the National Secretariat of Tourism (Senatur), and the Rally organizing team, with the aim of providing local communicators with key tools for professional, creative, and strategic coverage of the event.
The training, which began in February and had a total duration of 18 hours, included in its final stage:
- Graphic design in Canva: creation of visual materials for social media and flyers.
- Social media management with a focus on SEO.
- Press monitoring: tools and strategies to measure impact.
- Communication strategies to promote sustainable practices.
In addition, participants enjoyed a unique cultural experience with a guided tour of the Jesuit Missions and a moving concert by the Mbya Guaraní Choir, which added a symbolic and ancestral component to the day.

The certificates were presented by the CEO of the Rally, César Marsal, the Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, Ángel Bogado, the Secretary of Tourism of Itapúa, Verónica Stefani, and the Director General of Strategic Communication of MITIC, César Palacios.
“This training not only strengthens the coverage of the Rally, but also leaves installed capacities in the territories, betting on local development and the positioning of Itapúa as an international tourist destination,” said the Executive Director of the Paraguay Rally, César Marsal.

The new 2025 Paraguay Rally, which is part of the official FIA World Rally Championship calendar, will take place at the end of August in 13 districts of the department, with its epicenter in Encarnación and closing in Trinidad. The active participation of local communicators will be key to projecting the cultural, natural, and human wealth of this southern region of the country to the world.
