An important meeting was held between SENATUR executives and authorities from the National Development Bank (BNF) and the Agricultural Credit Bank (CAH), with the aim of coordinating joint actions to support entrepreneurs and merchants in the region. These initiatives seek to strengthen the local value chain and ensure that the impact of the Rally del Paraguay translates into more opportunities for the community.
“We continue to work for tourism that transforms communities,” said Tourism Minister Angie Duarte, reaffirming the institutional commitment to extend the benefits of the Rally to all sectors involved.
The agreed actions will be shared in the coming days to ensure effective and equitable implementation.
Digital transformation for MSMEs

At the same time, the training program “Promoting digital transformation in Paraguay,” aimed at micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises, was presented virtually. This initiative will kick off on July 1 with the event “Learning with Metta,” to be held at the Savoy Hotel in Encarnación.
During the event, participants will have access to practical workshops on Meta’s digital tools, aimed at improving the competitiveness and innovation of their businesses. In addition, the “IDB Digital Checkup,” led by the UNDP, will be implemented to assess the digital maturity of each company and offer personalized recommendations.
The MIC’s Deputy Minister of MSMEs, Gustavo Giménez Fernández, stressed that this training “will lay the foundations for a deeper understanding of the digital ecosystem.”
A Rally that leaves its mark
It should be noted that Senatur is an active member of the inter-institutional team working on the organization of the Rally del Paraguay, and has held training sessions with tourism service providers in the area, ensuring that the event is not only a sporting spectacle, but also a platform for sustainable development for Itapúa.
