We had already mentioned that Zaldívar finished with a hatrick of achievements after the third round of the FIA World Rally Championship. And his great performance paid off when he placed no less than second in the Challenger, third in the WRC2 and ninth overall.
He also scored no less than two scratches at the start of Saturday in the “Sleeping Warrior 1” (SS11) and “Elmenteita 1” (SS12) sections among the Rally2 group cars, being also the fifth best overall, beating even some Rally1 drivers.
At the end of the WRC Safari Rally Kenya, Zaldívar accumulated the necessary points to emerge at the top of the WRC2 Challenger with 27 points (10 in Sweden and 17 in Kenya), while in the overall WRC2, he is fourth with 23 points (8 in Sweden and 15 in Kenya).
Zaldívar did not specifically announce the program to be fulfilled in 2025, so each date -except for the WRC ueno Rally of Paraguay- will be a surprise for the country.
