The event was held at the SENATUR headquarters in Encarnación. The session was led by Nara Maidana, Marketing Director of the Rally; Luis Acosta, National Press Officer; Lluisa Torras, International Press Officer, joining remotely from Spain; and César Palacios, Director-General of Strategic Communication at MITIC and PR Manager for the Paraguay Rally.
The briefing forms part of a series of meetings organised by the Paraguay Rally’s Communications team, with the aim of strengthening media and operational capabilities ahead of coverage of the 2026 Paraguay Rally.
This was the second training session held in Itapúa, following the initial session on 11 June in Bella Vista, and came in addition to the presentation held last week in Asunción, which was aimed at the motorsport press.
Accreditation and access to official information
During the training sessions, details were provided on the accreditation process for national and international media, which is scheduled to begin on 27 June.
- National media: registration until 7 August
- International media: registration until 13 August
- Accreditation collection: 24 August in Encarnación
It was also emphasised that all the latest information on the event, requirements and updates is available on the official website: Rally del Paraguay.
Integrated communication for a global event
These measures form part of a communication strategy aimed at ensuring organised, efficient coverage that meets the standards of the World Rally Championship, strengthening ties with the press and promoting clear and timely dissemination of information.
The aim is to project a strong image of the country ahead of the arrival of international teams, organisers, the media and fans, thereby consolidating Paraguay’s position as a host for large-scale sporting events.
The 2026 WRC ueno Rally del Paraguay will take place from 27 to 30 August in the Department of Itapúa, representing one of the greatest organisational challenges undertaken by the country in the field of motorsport, with significant international visibility.
