The EKO Acropolis Rally took place this past weekend over 345.76 timed kilometers in 17 special stages. Paraguay was represented by two drivers, the first being Diego Domínguez Bejarano, the reigning WRC3 champion, who also competed in the Junior WRC, driving a Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo alongside Spaniard Rogelio Peñate in the right-hand seat.
Also present at the “Rally of the Gods” was Fabrizio Zaldívar, reigning two-time FIA-CODASUR Rally champion, navigated by Italian-Argentine Marcelo Der Ohannesian, in a Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 from the Toksport World Rally Team, now Skoda Motorsport’s priority customer team.

During the three days, the Greek terrain proved unforgiving for the 67 competitors registered for the event, which marks the halfway point of the 2025 FIA World Rally Championship season, and our compatriots were no exception.
At the end of the three stages, the best placed of the two was Diego Domínguez Bejarano, who scored a double podium finish, coming third in both the Junior WRC and WRC3, while Fabrizio Zaldívar had a more difficult time, finishing twelfth in the WRC2 Challenger and sixteenth in the WRC2.

After the EKO Acropolis Rally, both remain in the top 10 of their respective overall standings. Zaldívar is ninth with 23 points in WRC2 and seventh with 31 points in WRC2 Challenger, while Domínguez remains ninth with 31 points in WRC3 and sixth with 22 points in Junior WRC.
