In the competition from August 28 to 31, the competition will pass through the district with a special stage on Saturday 30 in the area of San Miguel Potrero, linking with the district of General Artigas.
The Deputy Coordinator of the Rally del Paraguay, Ricardo Deggeller, confirmed that the world rally will pass through the lands of Bogadenses and the coordination tasks with local authorities were initiated.
Authorities of the Executive Power, together with the Government of Itapúa, signed in February a cooperation agreement with mayors of the department for the organization and logistics during the days of competition. This framework agreement was signed by authorities from Cambyretá, Nueva Alborada, Bella Vista, Hohenau, Trinidad, Carmen del Paraná, Capitán Miranda, Fram, General Artigas, Obligado and San Juan del Paraná.
The WRC is expected to gather 250,000 people in the Department of Itapúa. In addition to the unprecedented number of visitors for a sporting event in the country, a global audience of 800 million people in 150 countries is expected.
